Meditations

Meditation can bring benefits to body, mind and spirit. It can take you beyond your physical self & mental self into a peaceful expanded state of awareness.

There are many ways and reasons to meditate. People meditate for physical and mental wellbeing and people also meditate for Spiritual awakening.

I had an absolute conviction I was someone who could or would never meditate. I never believed meditation could be fun, joyful, nourishing and juicy!

Today my meditation is my absolute favourite part of my day. And now I love to facilitate others to develop a fantastic juicy daily meditation practice.

My journey began in 2010 when an amazing Energy healer colleague invited me to a weekend workshop on meditation practices. At the end of the weekend there was the opportunity to join a 6 month online meditation program which I declined. On getting into my car I realised I had left something behind and returned to the room where the Brahmachari nun who was leading the weekend spoke to me. As we chatted I explained how I was not joining the course as I was simply someone who could not even imagine sitting down for 5 minutes let alone meditating. She laughed and said she was willing to prove to me that was not true and if I did the course she would guide me gently through it. I signed up and after a lot of effort and encouragement from her, I slowly developed a 5 minute daily routine which grew into a full meditation practice.

While sharing this experience with a group to whom I was teaching homeopathy to they asked if I would teach them meditation. And so I began a training program to teach and lead meditations in the tradition of Her Holiness Jagadguru Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi Mishra, as well as other Vedic, Buddhist, and mindfulness traditions (read more about Sai Maa and the awakened life movement on my resources page).
